history3_trappedI thought it might be fun to make a short post about the filming locations for Tang Yi's house and Zhao Zi's house, just in case somebody wants some references.
The location shoots for both places are actually guesthouses/bed & breakfasts (民宿 minsu).
Tang Yi's house is San Xing Liang Yi 三星兩憶, meaning 'Three stars, two memories'.
The show mainly uses rear shots of the building. The reason being, it's actually incredibly rural! It's basically surrounded by fields.
And here's the kicker, it's not even in Taipei, it's on the other side of the county, in Yiling County!
The interiors are still incredibly modern as seen in the show, so they didn't have to do too much redecorating during filming.
There's a video of the interiors on the guesthouse owner's Facebook page (I can't seem to find any other official website).

kimchocolat also has some nice Instagram posts on the exterior and interiors (1) and (2) of the guesthouse.
Zhao Zi's house is Sanzhi Xiao Bai Wu 三芝小白屋 meaning, "Sanzhi Little White House" (Sanzhi is a rural, seaside district in New Taipei.)
Just like the location where they filmed Tang Yi's house, this place is also incredibly far away from Taipei
They also did very little redecorating for filming, as the furniture for the living room and kitchen remain largely the same:
There is also a cosy little conservatory area between the front door and the living room, where perhaps during warm spring days, you can imagine Zhao Zi and Jack sharing a cup of tea.
The guesthouse has 3 rooms, one large room (that serves as Zhao Zi's bedroom)
and two smaller double bedrooms that are never seen during the show (hey, they've got to fit the crew somewhere when they're filming!).

wonsa_mint on Instagram, who makes the lovely CJAK (Chris Jake Andy Kenny) plushies, also recently visited with her Jack and Zhao Zi plushies in tow, where she reenacted the kabedon scene with them.
Bonus: she tagged Andy Bian in the post. He saw it, and approved.

Date: 4 Jan 2020 17:55 (UTC)Nice collection of info about the locations,I actually never thought about them using gueshouses and the like for filming,that's pretty neat since the decor is also very much ready and went with the characters with a few retouches here and there I'm guessing!
