Kenny is an exotic dancer and Andy has been dragged into a strip club on a friend's bachelorette party. His friends get him a lap dance as a joke and first he's reluctant because delicate, pretty boys aren't exactly his type and he doesn't want some guy grinding on him who's only doing it for the money and probably doesn't even want to be there in the first place. But when Kenny's hips start moving, as he's hovering over Andy so close he can feel the heat from Kenny's skin, Andy has to grip the arms of the chair till his knuckles turn white so he doesn't break the no touching rule.

It's been a pretty dull night for Kenny, he hasn't made much in tips, and he's looking forward to the club shutting so he can head home to bed. But then he sees this guy surrounded by his giggling friends, filling out a tight shirt with muscles that Kenny is itching to get his hands all over, and blushing adorably when Kenny says "Hi, handsome." He looks away when Kenny starts to grind above him, as if he's embarrassed, and it makes Kenny want to pull out every trick in the book - he wants to make this guy look at him. It's working - he lets his hips hitch to the throb of the beat, lets himself feel it, and now the guy is looking, wide-eyed and biting his lip like he wants to do more than look. And Kenny decides: this one, he wants to take home.

i just came across this bit in the comments to the intros post: 22-year-old Tang Yi and his Gay Posse partying it up in Taipei's gay nightclub scene - and while i do ship the younger versions of tang yi and andy, i really want fic about the queer community tang yi has around him as he's coming of age. i LOVE that the show makes a point of showing this community, via jin tang (the doctor) and andy (the vixen) and their boyfriends, because that is REALISTIC! also i love that the few friends tang yi has whose pics he is comfortable having on his phone are from outside/on the outskirts of his gang-related life, but they all know and support him and - it's just really, really making me happy that he has a found family of sorts beyond xin tian meng.

also you know he and andy have A PAST and are now EXTREMELY GOOD FRIENDS who know each other EXTREMELY WELL:



even outside the pretend!makeouts for jealousy purposes and the teasing after, look at that casually intimate hand on tang yi's waist. GAH I WOULD READ SO MUCH OF THIS Y'ALL.

A fresh-faced new baby cop shows up at the station, & somehow Zhao Zi ends up taking him under his wing—& bringing him home for dinner. Jack for once is at a loss for how to deal with this, but he’s pretty sure that his usual solution involving the knife tucked into his boot isn’t going to fly with Zhao Zi.

I’m a sucker for fic involving domestic shenanigans & for the relationship reveal trope, & I kinda love the idea of Jack & Zhao Zi being something of an open secret that no one thought to inform the new guy about. You can take this really any direction you can to—I said fluff in the subject line, & comedic fluff is what I kind of had in mind, but if your muse moves you in an angsty direction I’d love to read that too!

Not sure if/how much these would be relevant here, but standard disclaimer that my squicks include cheating and medical horror/gore?

this could be SUPER FUNNY. not sure how you feel about accidentally evoked jealousy, but imagine if jack has never experienced jealousy before! he's totally caused it as a manipulation strategy - he's a good spy so he knows the uhh, emotional mechanism of it - but never from his own experience. and then he has to identify this strange feeling and figure out how to cope with it :D

i hope someone who's good at writing comedy picks up this bunny!

Meng Shao Fei/Tang Yi, Honto Yajuu Inspired(?) Role Reversal AU

You don't have to be familiar with Honto Yajuu to write this--just imagine a world in which everything is a little smaller time, a little less serious, and very soft all of the time. Meng Shao Fei is the heir to a respected but relatively small gang; Tang Yi is the recently transferred handsome local patrol cop. They bump into each other one night (underwear thief optional but encouraged :D ) and immediately fall head over heels for each other. Hijinks ensue!

Standard disclaimer again that my squicks include cheating and detailed/extended scenes of medical horror/gore.

Pairing: Any, Bromance crossover

NOT TO SPAM THIS POST, but! I'm not sure if anyone else here watches other T drama series, but I would LOVE to see a crossover with Bromance! It would make sense for Du Zi Feng and Tang Yi to know each other, and I'm not entirely sure what Pi Ya Nuo would make of Jack but no matter what it would be hilarious.

(I'm going throw this out there and see if anybody bites).

After Trapped finishes airing, Andy and Kenny's agency decide that given the popularity of the Jack/ZZ pairing, it would be good to keep the interest in the actors high amongst the fans by announcing publicly that Andy Bian and Kenny Chen are actually dating each other. But don't worry, the agency tells the boys, it's not for real, it's just for the publicity and to grow their fanbase.

A big deal is made about how they fell in love and on set, and how it was love at first kiss—and then they couldn't stop kissing (with tongue)! Andy has to call Kenny cute at least once in every interview, and they are encouraged to be snuggly for the cameras and say things like "...and that's why we should sleep in the same bed." They go out for dinner together every week and have to post selfies, they have to show up at each other's birthday parties, they have to get each other big birthday presents like cruise trips. They do a couples Instagram livestream on Christmas Eve.

It's just fanservice, it's all for show.

...except it's not.

Andy went it with initially because he was still riding high off of all the feelings during filming, and he and Kenny do get along well with each other, but somewhere along the line, he realizes he's fallen in actual love with Kenny. Of course, Kenny doesn't actually have feelings for him. They're just good friends. So he keeps his feelings secret.

Kenny went along with it initially, because when he's acting, he's actually feeling those feelings. He and Andy get along together really well, so he figures he'll ride it out. Sure, the fake dating his agency is putting him through will probably give him a gradual transition out of those feelings, but as time goes by, those feelings don't go away. They just get stronger. And suddenly all the kissing they do at the press conferences—he's not acting, that's how he really feels. Kenny realizes he's probably never been acting when he's been kissing Andy. Of course, Andy doesn't actually have feelings for him. They're just good friends. So he keeps his feelings secret.

Then, it's the Valentine's Day cruise. Both boys joke about how much better it would have been if their agency hadn't been plotting all along to turn Kenny's birthday present into a cash cow by inviting Chris and Josh and the rest of fans for a premium price. It would have been nice if that had just been their cruise, right?

The agency has booked them the Luxury Suite for the trip—they're supposed to be a couple, so of course they have a love-love couples room. There's a sofabed if they don't want to sleep together in the same bed.

Except, they really, really do, but neither of them knows how badly the other wants it.

Will everything come to a head during the infamous Valentine's Day cruise? Will Andy and Kenny finally confess their feelings or each other, or will their deepest, darkest secrets remain hidden even longer?

You, dear creator, get to decide.

If I’ve understood the plot bunny farm concept correctly, this is a place to discuss/request/inspire writing on specific plot points. Assuming I’ve got that right, I’d love to see more of the development of intimacy between Tang Yi and Meng Shaofei. In the show we get a few snapshots that provide fixed points: (1) the “seduction” of TY by MSF in his apartment (which seems to serve as TY gently seeing where MSF’s experience/boundaries lie); (2) the cake-smeared birthday make-out which basically fades to black; (3) the post-breakdown in-bed snuggling; and (4) the last night pre-jail sex scene. But how do TY and MSF navigate between these points? How does TY’s experience and MSF’s (seeming) lack of experience work itself out? What about the power dynamics? I’m really intrigued by all of this stuff and would love to read what others make of it. I don’t think I’ve got any specific no-go areas except that I’d like to feel positive about them together in the end.

Side note: Have I done this right? If not, please do educate me on appropriate plot bunny farm etiquette!

Hey! I think you've done this right--this is my first experience with a plot bunny farm post like this, as well, but a plot bunny is an idea for a fic that won't go away until SOMEONE writes it, and your comment a) is about a fic idea that someone could pick up and write, and b) it conforms to the style guidelines in the post, so! It seems good to me?

Also, this is a GREAT prompt, honestly I would be SUPER INTO a fic about how their relationship develops as they add sex into the mix. I hope somebody takes this one up! :D

I am kind of late but I just joined the community and posted a short fic, and I need to say hell yeees to everything you proposed... I feel exactly the same way... any of those moments are something I also wonder about too. I wish somebody would write any of them :)

Jack knew how to fish out any information he needed. Through subtle means or through right out infliction of excruciating pain, nobody could walk away without singing like a little bird. Not when Jack had made his mind to interrogate them. Blackmail? Easy. Exchange of favours? Easy. Torture? Easy. He was an expert in all. With a heart of stone, and a smile that cut deeper than his knife, he was known as someone you did! not! cross! Ever, if you knew what was good for you.

So when it came to his knowledge that police officer Zhao Lian had information that he needed Jack did the expected thing - tried to find dirt on him, something he could exploit. When it became clear that Zhao Lian was squeaky clean (seriously, the man had no vices, how was this possible!), the next step was intimidation. Or, if that didn't work, Jack wasn't opposed to getting his hands dirty.

Total newbie here who just finished watching the show about a half hour ago (those who follow me on Twitter will know that I literally only started it yesterday and fell in love!)

Anyway, the fic I desperately wanted by the end was Jack joining the police after he'd quit everything else. He tries hard not to flirt too much with Zhao Zi around the team, but he sometimes can't help himself. Zhao Zi isn't quite ready for the public displays of affection, especially not at work, but Jack is pretty hard to resist at times.

Cue workplace romance shenanigans!

I actually chuckled at this comment, because I have a WIP sitting around where Jack is appointed Captain of Unit Three, and ... I don't think I'm ever going to finish it. 😅
