Couple canon questions: 
1. Is Tang Yi's bedroom upstairs or downstairs? If it's upstairs, was Meng Shao Fei's guest bedroom downstairs? I kinda need a downstairs bedroom, here.

2. Do we know the name of Andy's boyfriend? 

And general query: Would a police officer use Lao + Family Name when speaking to a mob boss?

Tang Yi's bedroom is upstairs for sure - when Zhi De jealously watches them kissing they are upstairs. I thought the guest bedroom was upstairs, too. But I could be mistaken. And it's a big house, you can put another bedroom downstairs for fic purposes. :)

And I don't think we heard Andy's boyfriend name in the drama. I haven't read novelization, but maybe it was mentioned there?

Oh, right right right! It must be the guest bedroom that's downstairs. The rest of the fic's definitely happening in that one, then. We are not navigating stairs in the current circumstances. XD

I think we might actually have the name of Andy's boyfriend? If you go back to the scene where he shows MSF his picture (after the jealous kissing at the club when MSF goes out with TY while still wearing the Kermit shirt)... That's the only plausible place.

I don't have my computer right now so can't check, sorry!

Also, yes, a police officer using "Lao-" with a mob boss he's familiar with, maybe frenemies with, is totally a thing that could happen. Go ahead and use it!

We just watched that ep. on Tuesday (I'm rewatching the series & treating thevetia and klia to their first viewing) and in the subtitles, at least, the boyfriend is not named. Tang Yi just says "his boyfriend." Whether the Chinese says more...?

& definitely the guest bedroom is downstairs while Tang Yi's is upstairs.

...and now I need a H3:T icon and I need to decide which ones of the many wonderful ones shared here I'll borrow. *g* (so you get Nicholas Tse icon instead)

If it helps, in one of their Instagram post-episode lives, they fessed up that Andy's boyfriend was one of the production staff and they just thought the picture was cute so that's what they used. So you can pick any random dude you want, lol.

When they come home from their big day out with the magnet therapy and the jealous lunch, Shao Fei goes into the kitchen and grabs the bottle of Coke out of the fridge, shoves the car keys at Tang Yi and then storms upstairs alone. So his bedroom, as far as I can tell, is upstairs in canon. Unless he was going to take point on the balcony with his Coke and have a good pout, lol.

BUT THEN. When Tang Yi grabs him by the hand and pulls him away to massage ointment into his bruises, he pulls him in a direction that's not back toward the stairs. BUT. He could have just been dragging him to the ointment and then dragged him upstairs, lol.

I also remembered MSF storming off upstairs. However, unless there’s a lift(!) I have no idea how he single-handedly got all his luggage upstairs when he moved in for bodyguarding duties, and he’s the only one carrying it when he’s first seen in the room. So there’s also a canon suggestion that the room must be downstairs.
