I honestly don’t think Jack would have cared if Tang Yi killed the guy? I dunno, I think that Jack might have intervened, but probably right down to the wire.
I was the under the impression, later in the series, that he's the one who contacted MSF when the whole Ah-De attempted rape thing happened. And he brought MSF specifically in to stop TY.
