I am kinda pants at intro posts, which makes no sense because most of the time I'm chatty as hell. But *emoji shrug* here we go!
How I came to watch Trapped Because I hear I'm not supposed to blame things on bonibaru... uh, let's say I was drawn in by gifsets on Tumblr and comments about how tropey and delightful it was. I have a general policy of waiting until a show is done and over before watching, so it took me a little longer to get to it, but once I did I was in heaven.
My favorite scene in Trapped I have no idea. Um...all of them? GUESS I NEED TO WATCH IT AGAIN TO FIGURE THIS OUT.
I can say, though, it was such a relief to not hate the het ship. I liked how Zuo Hong Ye was written and acted and I thought Dao Yi's fraught state over their relationship was very believable.
I like Trapped because Love doctorskuld's wording about it being "absolutely unabashed" regarding itself, and yes yes yes to leaving enough open to allow--heck, invite!--transformative works. Trope bingo blackout, indeed.
