Novelization: Epilogue 2 Discussion Thread

stebeee and weilongfu have finished translating the second epilogue of the HIStory 3: Trapped novelization.

The epilogue reveals some of Jack's dark past and focuses around his relationship with Zhao Zi, smut included.

Please consider this entry the discussion thread for the events in Epilogue 2, meaning that there will be spoilers for such in the comments.

So despite how uncomfortable stebeee found it, I actually found it hilarious with the type of humor that is roughly on par with the show. I think there's a concern about Jack taking advantage of Zhao Zi's confusion (which is not due to drunkenness and just naivete, in my interpretation), and their interaction is not entirely how I would characterize their sexual relationship, but Jack doing something like that is something that I can see as not too far off his usual characterization.

I agree with you, something like this isn't too far off Jack's usual characterization. And honestly I didn't have a problem with it.

Besides it's not like Jack lied exactly. Zhao Zi was technically on top. xD

Exactly! I mean, Jack is a trickster. I think what's out of character was MSF telling Zhao Zi he was still a virgin (LIES), but I'll chalk it up to him being a belligerent drunk.

I would love to think that that's when Zhao Zi discovers that he loves to 'top' and Jack is like, "Anytime." ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yep, I am totally crediting Shao Fei's oocness on him being super drunk. xD
Zhao Zi, on the other hand, is such a cute naive baby of course he'll panic that he's still a virgin *facepalm* the way Jack laughed at him when he heard Zhao Zi's explanation was precious, I would die of laughter too. *snickers* I mean seriously, Zhao Zi, sweetheart! Too cute! ;;

LOL drunk MSF continues to give ZZ a virgin complex. XDDD

That said, it directly implies that MSF and TY switch, which I appreciate, because I see them that way too.
(ZZ though...the most power-bottom in history.)

I love the trope where one half of the couple is like "Yep, that's the disaster I'm going to marry someday" and this is so true for Jack and ZZ. <3333333
