Welcome to the HIStory3: Trapped 圈套 Community on Dreamwidth

Even the though the fandom is spread around on various social media platforms, I think there are enough people on Dreamwidth who have seen the show to merit a separate community to celebrate our favorite disaster gangsters and their disaster cop boyfriends.

This is a comm for discussing and sharing the love of Trapped 圈套 and its related content, including:
• All types of discussion, discourse, and squee
• Actor news and spam (RPS and speculation is acceptable)
• Fan works (fanfiction, podfic, art, icons, vids, etc.), including your own work, challenges, recs and fanwork finding, beta requests

To start things off, let's introduce ourselves, tell each other how we came into the fandom, and what our favorite things about Trapped 圈套 are.

Oh, I love that idea! That episode 1 is the first time that TY and MSF are actually alone, hence the sudden escalation! I would honestly love to see a pre-canon fic leading up to their first confrontation. You've thought about this alot!

And it's canon that Jack joined Xin Tian Meng a year ago from the start of the series. If I recall correctly, it's mentioned offhand by Ah-De, in some protest about Jack still being new?

That's what I thought I remembered - that Ah De brought up the newness & set the time frame. I don't think that's meant to be coincidence since it's close in sequence to MSF telling ZZ that Tang Yi's routine suddenly became predictable a year ago and now MSF knows where he is every day at any given time. For TY to have made a change like that which, I remember thinking at the time, borders on carelessness for a mob boss (I watched a lot of The Sopranos back in the day) - there had to be a reason, and to open the series with MSF trying to bust up their gang meeting and not even being patient enough to wait for a warrant and Tang Yi knowing almost to the minute when he'd arrive - TOO MUCH COINCIDENCE.
