I see this in my head as an epic 30k+ fic involving some of Jack's past catching up with him, epic car chases and shootouts, and internal politicking with the rest of the criminal investigation divisions, and...I have to question whether I have it in me to actually write this. 😭 WHAT SHOULD I DO

You could do it as a number of smaller pieces instead of one big story.

I am kind of late but I just joined the community and posted a short fic, and I need to say hell yeees to everything you proposed... I feel exactly the same way... any of those moments are something I also wonder about too. I wish somebody would write any of them :)
