Jack for once is at a loss for how to deal with this, but he’s pretty sure that his usual solution involving the knife tucked into his boot isn’t going to fly with Zhao Zi.

I’m a sucker for fic involving domestic shenanigans & for the relationship reveal trope, & I kinda love the idea of Jack & Zhao Zi being something of an open secret that no one thought to inform the new guy about. You can take this really any direction you can to—I said fluff in the subject line, & comedic fluff is what I kind of had in mind, but if your muse moves you in an angsty direction I’d love to read that too!
